Installation¶
This SDK can be used in two ways:
Python package (recommended for most users)
C dynamic library (for C/C++ or any language with C FFI)
All packages are published in the Qtechnology GitLab package registry.
Python installation¶
Note
Python 3.10 or later is required.
pip install --index-url https://gitlab.com/qtec/public/packages/pypi/simple qtec-hv-sdk
uv add --index https://gitlab.com/qtec/public/packages/pypi/simple qtec-hv-sdk
Note
If your environment requires using a different or additional index, you can add --extra-index-url instead of replacing the index.
C dynamic library installation¶
Download prebuilt archives from the Generic package registry for qtec-hv-sdk:
Windows (x86_64)¶
Download the 0.8.1 archive for Windows (x86_64): windows SDK (v0.8.1)
Extract it to a folder of your choice, e.g.
C:\\qtec-hv-sdk.Add the
bindirectory to your PATH so applications can locate the DLLs:Start menu → “Edit the system environment variables” → Environment Variables
Under “User variables” (or “System variables”), edit
Pathand addC:\\qtec-hv-sdk\\bin
Linux (x86_64)¶
Download the 0.8.1 archive for Linux (x86_64): linux SDK (v0.8.1)
Extract the directory onto
/usr.Use
pkgconfigretrieve libs and flags.
