Hypervision 1000

The Hypervision 1000 (VIS-NIR) covers both the visible and near-infrared ranges (400-1000nm), with up to 330 spectral bands (1.77 nm/px spectral resolution). The bands can be individually selected and their exposure time individually adjusted (in order to compensate for illumination differences in the individual wavelengths).

Planned Update

A new HV 1000 revision is planned for 2027. It is expected to offer more spectral bands and higher acquisition speed than the current version. Unlike the current version, it is not expected to support per-line exposure adjustment.

It operates with a rolling shutter and has a maximum framerate of 250 with all 330 spectral bands. The framerate is directly proportional to the number of bands (sensor lines) and therefore it can be greatly increased by individually selecting only the desired wavelengths.

Plants are normally highly reflective in the near-infrared range which makes the Hypervision 1000 suitable for agricultural applications.
